Female prostitution is more visible and often featured as a topic in the media. The world of male hustlers – men that sell sex to other men – can only be found by those who know where to look. Already 30 years ago, the Swiss film director Simon Bischoff made the documentary “Er moretto” about the issue of male prostitution. But there have also been some new releases about the issue, such as the French feature “Elias” by Clément Badin.
Author Oliver Demont takes a closer look at Zurich, portraying hustlers and clients in his book “Buying men” (Salis-Verlag 2012) with photographs by the well-known photographer Walter Pfeiffer.
In a Pink Talk we will be chatting with Simon Bischoff, Clément Badin and Oliver Demont, and be showing old and also brand new films about male prostitution.
