Leo is blind. He is lovingly taken care of by his best friend Giovana, who secretly has a bit of a crush on him. But Leo rather makes friends with Gabriel, a newcomer to their class, and must find a way to deal with Giovana’s jealousy while coming to terms with his feelings for Gabriel.
Daniel Ribeiro won the Teddy-Award at this year’s Berlinale with his feature film debut. “The Way He Looks” (“Hoje eu quero voltar sozinho”) is based on his similarly named short film, which could be viewed in Pink Apple’s 2011 short film contest.

At this year’s opening in Zurich we are looking forward to welcoming words by Town Counsil André Odermatt. In addition, Daniel Ribeiro will be attending.
Pink Apple’s opening in Frauenfeld will be accompanied by a greeting by Bastian Baumann, Pink Cross’ new general secretary.

Both in Zurich and in Frauenfeld drinks and snacks will be offered.
