The 17-year-old Georges is sent to a Christian boarding school where the Fathers rule with hard hands. He views the homosexual relationships of some of his fellow pupils critically. But when he meets the 10-year-old lower grade student Alexandre he falls in love. The two students act out their hidden feelings in an intense exchange of letters.
